Our Basic Certification Training, which has been accredited by
WSIB, is presented over a 3 day period and in 7 distinct modules. We designed
our training to be presented on three consecutive Mondays in order to ease staffing
problems for our clients. These modules cover the following topics:
- An introduction to Certification Training.
- Occupational Health & Safety and the Law
- Applying WHMIS to the Workplace
- Workplace Health & Safety Assessments
- Safety Hazards and Workplace Inspections
- Conducting Incident and Accident Investigations
- Developing a Heath & Safety Program
This program is intended for the members of your Joint Health & Safety Committee
who are to be
certified.

This training is designed for the Certified Members of the Joint Health and Safety Committee and assists them in understanding the hazards present in their workplace. The
company through the JH&SC is required to assess the hazards associated with their workplace and have the Certified Members attend training that deals with the identified hazards in the workplace. HRSGroup offers short information courses customized for the client company.

 | Supervisor's Occupational Health & Safety Certification Program |
This program is designed for those with managerial responsibility for others. Managers, supervisors, and members of the Joint Health and Safety Committee can all benefit from this training. It provides a broad base of understanding of the primary
Occupational Health & Safety issues facing supervisory staff. This program
can also be expanded for individual companies with specific topics of
concern. General topics covered are:
- Finding One's Way Around The Act and Workplace Regulation Publication
- Understanding Duties and Responsibilities
- Workplace Specific WHMIS Hazards
- Identifying Hazards
- Conducting Workplace Inspections
